The Morales Method® Pain Specialist Program is for the bodyworker who wants to learn techniques that will help them get their clients out of pain and take their practice into the next paradigm of manual therapy. The techniques taught in these courses have been honed over the last 20+ years in my private practice. I regularly apply them to help my clients who are suffering from a variety of acute and chronic conditions find relief from pain.
These courses, originally taught as in-person workshops, have been distilled into jam packed online courses that you can take on your own time from the comfort of your own home. I'm happy to be able to share this way of working with even more manual therapists in this online format.
Pain Specialist Certification Details
This bundle is meant for practitioners interested in receiving a Pain Specialist Certification through the Morales Method®. This certification requires completion of all 29 hours of courses and coaching included in this bundle.
To utilize the Morales Method® trademark, students must also complete a license agreement with the Morales Method® as it is a registered trademark protected under USPTO law. This license agreement will be renewed at the beginning of each year and include a fee. (Fee will be waived once the student has reached ad vitam status after 10 years of certification).
Marty Morales, Certified Advanced Rolfer®, Founder of the Morales Method®
Marty is a NCBTMB (451212-10) approved continuing education provider. He is the creator of the Morales Method® Academy of Structural Integration and an author of several books including: Deep Tissue Bodywork- A New Approach to a Classic Modality, Mastering Body Mechanics, 2nd Ed, and Morales Method® Core Integration Therapy. Marty has been teaching since 2006 and has held classes in California, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Florida, Japan, Switzerland, Poland, and Taiwan.
His private practice in San Francisco, CA has been running since 2003 with over 10,000 hours logged in session. Before beginning his training as a massage therapist in 2002, Marty received an MBA in Finance from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. Marty is passionate about bodywork and continuing education and loves the classroom environment where he gets to share his experience and knowledge from over two decades in the field!

How do I become a Morales Method® Pain Specialist?
First, you must complete all 29 hours of education and coaching included in this bundle. During your second coaching session with Marty, to be scheduled once all online course hours are completed, you will recieve the license agreement and all instruction on how to pay your fee and recieve your official certification as a Morales Method® Pain Specialist.
Can I call myself a Morales Method® Pain Specialist without entering a license agreement?
No, Morales Method® is a registered trademark protected under USPTO law. Those who have entered the license agreement with Morales Method® are the only ones who can legally utilize the terms Morales Method® and Morales Method® Pain Specialist when describing their work.
What are the two coaching sessions about? When should I schedule them?
The two 30-minute coaching sessions are there to give you 1-1 time with Marty to check in about your progress through the material in the middle of your training and also to discuss the details of the license agreement once you complete all coursework.
The 1-1 Check in with Marty should be scheduled after the completion of a few hours of training. The Exit Meeting with Marty should be scheduled after the completion of all online traininig. Details for scheduling are included in the instructions for the coaching session.
When does the courses start and finish? Will I always have access to them?
The courses start now and never end! They are completely self-paced online courses - you decide when you start and when you finish. After enrolling, you have unlimited access for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.
Are the classes applicable for CEUs? How do I get them?
Yes! After you complete an individual course (all videos must be completed and quiz taken), a certificate of completion is automatically emailed to you free of charge to the email associated with your account. You can then submit this to your state board for CEU acceptance (dependent on the rules and regulations of your state). This bundle provides a total of 28.0 NCBTMB CEUs and 22.0 FL State CEUs.
Do you report to CE Broker?
Yes, we do for Florida LMTs, but we need some information from you to do so! Once you’ve completed your course and received your Certificate of Completion, we need you to email us your LMT number ([email protected]). If we do not have your license number, we cannot submit your hours!
I'm Licensed in Florida State, will these courses count toward HANDS ON CEUs?
Yes, these hours have been approved for HANDS ON CEUs by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy. And we also report to CE Broker! Once you’ve completed an individual course that mentions that it has been approved for and received your Certificate of Completion, we need you to email us a copy of your certificate at [email protected] along with your LMT number. If we do not have your license number, we cannot submit your hours!
